Beschreibung:
The cycle tour starts in the centre of Ladbergen. Before setting off, it is worth taking a look at the local history or shoe museum. Then it's off and the cycle tour leads through the wide Münsterland countryside towards Tecklenburg.
For sporty cyclists, a detour to the charming old town is recommended, while those who want to avoid the metres in altitude can follow the cycle route towards Lengerich. The landscape around the historic Haus Marck at the foot of Tecklenburg is characterised by lush greenery and makes cycling a pleasure.
Shortly before Lengerich, a detour to Lengerich Canyon is worthwhile. The view of the nature reserve with its lake is truly impressive. A few metres further on, Lengerich with its striking Roman tower is reached. Nature lovers are particularly drawn to the Hortensia Garden. More than 300 different species can be admired here.
The cycle path now gains altitude and only reaches the flat landscape of Münsterland again at Lienen. The small town with its half-timbered houses invites you to take a break. A visit to the barefoot park is particularly refreshing in summer. Fields and meadows accompany the cycle tour on its way to Kattenvenne. The small district is particularly famous for its hedge theatre. The Münsterland shows its rural side once again for the last few kilometres to Ladbergen.
