Leeden Abbey Museum

Tecklenburg

The aristocratic convent and its predecessor, the Cistercian convent, look back on a history of over 800 years. Founded in 1538, the convent consists of a collegiate church and a collegiate house, both of which together form the centre of the idyllic village of Leeden. The collegiate house houses a small museum with documents on the foundation and dissolution of the convent. The exhibition also provides interesting insights into life in Leeden Abbey.
