Between the town hall and the adjacent kindergarten as well as the senior citizens' home on the other side of the Mühlenbach lies the so-called "Peace Park". The first section of the Peace Park was created in the floodplain of the straightened Mühlenbach. Here, visitors are greeted daily by waddling ducks, which are always happy to be fed. Geometric pathways with circular shapes as joints lead from here in all directions, and seating can be found everywhere. The planting of the path circles with hornbeam hedges, various ornamental shrubs and deciduous trees offers a beautiful and peaceful sight. The letter F cast in concrete is the symbol of the peace park. Explanations of the park's layout are written on its blue-coloured surface.

ParkingThere are several car parks around the Friedenspark. The park is easily accessible on foot from all car parks in the city centre.
Arrival
Getting there by car:
The Friedenspark is very easy to reach via the A1 motorway (Münster-Osnabrück).
From the "Ladbergen" exit, follow the signs in the direction of "Ladbergen".
The Friedenspark is located on the edge of the town centre, just a few metres from the town hall.
Arrival by bus and train:
Münster railway station, connections to regional and long-distance transport.
Bus line S50 towards Münster-Osnabrück airport, change to bus line X15 to Ladbergen.
