Whether exhibitions, puppet theatre, music or workshops - in the large Kulturspeicher in Dörenthe, artists from the region find a home and stage for their creative creations. The tall red-brick tower with its five floors full of ideas rises on the bank of the canal. Since 2006, it has been a workshop and performance venue for those interested in culture and the arts. The Querbeet theatre and the Speichermalkreis as well as "KanalArt" rehearse here. Guests enjoy the well-known events such as the puppet theatre days, the Jazzfrühshoppen, the harbour festival, Novemberleuchten -an arts and crafts market- and numerous workshops. In addition, the stylish rooms of the Kulturspeicher are available for rent.
