Cycle tour: Ibbenbüren high above

The tour tip "Ibbenbüren high up" is 26 kilometres long and leads over the Dickenberg to Uffeln, the northernmost district of Ibbenbüren. The return journey is relaxed along the River Aa.
After the tour, Ibbenbüren's city centre with its numerous restaurants, bistros and street cafés invites you to take a stroll and rest.

From junction 5 at the corner of Groner Allee and "An der Aa", cycle along the cycle path network first to junctions 6, 7 and 10 and then in the direction of KP 76,
At Forstweg, leave the national cycle path system and continue cycling on local paths as follows:
Turn left onto Forstweg
Turn left into Hopstener Straße,
turn right into Heitkampweg,
turn right into Grube Sonnenschein,
turn left into Heinrich-Brockmann-Straße,
turn right into Rheiner Straße.
From the cycle path sign at the junction Rheiner Straße/Bohnenweg
cycle downhill towards junction 8 in the direction of Hopsten/ Uffeln.
Uffeln. After the canal, turn left into the street "Kronenburg", then left into Nordbahnstraße.
then left into Nordbahnstraße. Follow this road, which becomes "Hauptstraße", until you reach the traffic lights. After crossing the junction, keep right (Okereistraße) and after crossing a railway siding, keep left. Then continue straight ahead to junction 45, from the signpost follow the stream on an idyllic path through fields and meadows towards Ibbenbüren and back to the starting point.
