The Bürgerscheune Saerbeck was originally a farmhouse. Thanks to conversion measures, it has become a spacious festival hall with a stage over the years. With its versatile equipment, today's event centre offers space for theatre or cabaret performances, concerts and meetings of all kinds.

The charming atmosphere and the wide range of possible uses offer the ideal conditions for sharing cultural experiences and promoting a lively community.

The barn was formerly known as "Hof Hunnekuhl" and later as "Jochmaring-Gerdemann". The farm, which was first mentioned in a document around 1400, is one of Saerbeck's old farms and was at that time still outside the village settlement in the farming community of Middendorf.
