Once a defiant moated castle, today an inviting park around St. Vitus Church: Venhaus Castle Park has developed into a charming green meeting place thanks to the initiative of an enterprising support association. The individual stations of the environmental education garden, such as the humming stone, sundial, touch pillars and the communication traffic circle, are wonderful to discover on a tour. A shelter for around 20 people has been set up for cyclists.

From May to October, the illustrative creation trail of the Spelle-Schapen-Lünne and Venhaus parish community invites visitors to reconsider the value of creation.
